Song and Music Video, Infomercial, and Poster Making Contests
Young people can be a powerful force for change! Sulong CARHRIHL’s PEACEtahan 2008 invites the youth to share their ideas on peace, human rights, international humanitarian law, and the Comprehensive Agreement on Respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL) signed by the Philippine government and the National Democratic Front.
· Open to all Filipino youth aged 16 to 35 nationwide
· Contest categories are: original song and music video on peace and human rights (three to five minutes long), infomercial about CARHRIHL (20-30 seconds), and poster.
· Entries must conform with the contest theme, “Kabataan, Tayo Naman!”
· All entries should be submitted via e-mail or post, along with the official entry form. Only digital files of posters should be sent.
· The shortlisted entries will be exhibited in schools, universities, or malls for public viewing
· The winning entries will be featured during the concert and awards night set in April 2008 in Metro Manila

The winners will be selected through a public polling system (25%) and evaluation of entries by a set of judges (75%) comprising of peace and human rights advocates and artists.
Criteria for judging will be as follows: 40 points – content; 60 points – composition, originality, and impact
